Tru Identity Photography Blog bio picture
  • Welcome to Tru Identity Photography+Designs

My name is Stefani Peterson, I am the lead photographer and owner of Tru Identity Photography+Designs.

I began Tru Identity in 2008, kind of by accident... I was a dance/drill team director and first grade teacher for three years when I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. I made the team and decided to put teaching aside (I could always go back to it) while I embraced this amazing opportunity of being a DCC. During this time, I bought my first Canon camera, learned the ins-and-outs of photography and shooting in manual, and started photographing anything and everything (and everyone) that would let me. And as they say, the rest is history!

I love getting to know my clients and sharing in their special events! If you would like to talk further about your wedding photography or special event that needs to be remembered, feel free to shoot me an email by clicking the Contact link above.

    Thank you!
    Stefani

Goodbye my lover….

In the words of James Blunt….”goodbye my lover, goodbye my friend, you have been the one, you have been the one for me…”

I had to return my beautiful L series lenses I rented yesterday… it was heart breaking… hopefully we shall meet again…

I rented the lenses to see what I liked before I bought them… if you are not familiar with photography and the price of a lens, let me just thrown in that one of these lenses ALONE would cost $2, 000… yes, that is three zeros after the two… crazy, I know. So I just figured renting and testing would be a smart idea. Thank you for everyone who took advantage of my lens Playtime Special. I got plenty of practice and shots to help me make my decision.

Aren’t they gorgeous…. take a moment and admire the pretty red line that circles the lens… a trademark of the Canon L series. Wow!

my beauties :)
