Tru Identity Photography Blog bio picture
  • Welcome to Tru Identity Photography+Designs

My name is Stefani Peterson, I am the lead photographer and owner of Tru Identity Photography+Designs.

I began Tru Identity in 2008, kind of by accident... I was a dance/drill team director and first grade teacher for three years when I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. I made the team and decided to put teaching aside (I could always go back to it) while I embraced this amazing opportunity of being a DCC. During this time, I bought my first Canon camera, learned the ins-and-outs of photography and shooting in manual, and started photographing anything and everything (and everyone) that would let me. And as they say, the rest is history!

I love getting to know my clients and sharing in their special events! If you would like to talk further about your wedding photography or special event that needs to be remembered, feel free to shoot me an email by clicking the Contact link above.

    Thank you!
    Stefani

Ideas for Brides: Photobooths

I wanted to start adding sections to my blog to help out or give ideas to upcoming brides about things I have seen at weddings, what I love, and what I WISH I would have done at mine…

So the first idea I am going to throw at you is this SUPER FUN idea of a photobooth at your wedding reception! Tracy from DFW Photobooths was at Brad and Kim’s reception and was working the photobooth. Not only do you and your guests get to go in the booth and take silly photos but you can put them in a book and your guests get to write messages to you next to their photos!! So cool! Plus it gives your guests something to do if they are not the “hit the dance floor” type. Everyone there seemed to love it! And, what a great way to remember your day.

Here are some photos I grabbed of the booth and the link below:)
