  • Welcome to Tru Identity Photography+Designs

    My name is Stefani Peterson, I am the lead photographer and owner of Tru Identity Photography+Designs.

    I began Tru Identity in 2008, kind of by accident... I was a dance/drill team director and first grade teacher for three years when I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. I made the team and decided to put teaching aside (I could always go back to it) while I embraced this amazing opportunity of being a DCC. During this time, I bought my first Canon camera, learned the ins-and-outs of photography and shooting in manual, and started photographing anything and everything (and everyone) that would let me. And as they say, the rest is history!

Katie and Ryan’s wedding can be summed up in one word… FUN! I think everyone there was laughing, having a good time, and dancing! Yes, I think everyone was on the dance floor… I have never seen such a celebration! You have to laugh when you see some of the photos… I wish I could post them all. Katie and Ryan,
Thank you so much letting me capture your wedding and all the events that lead up to it! Ya’ll have such a sweet fun love for each other that everyone around you can see… and evident by your “Time of my Life” first dance! What a way to start a reception! Again, it was so much fun. Thank you for showing me what a joy and celebration your love is :)
