Welcome to Tru Identity Photography+Designs

My name is Stefani Peterson, I am the lead photographer and owner of Tru Identity Photography+Designs.

I began Tru Identity in 2008, kind of by accident... I was a dance/drill team director and first grade teacher for three years when I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. I made the team and decided to put teaching aside (I could always go back to it) while I embraced this amazing opportunity of being a DCC. During this time, I bought my first Canon camera, learned the ins-and-outs of photography and shooting in manual, and started photographing anything and everything (and everyone) that would let me. And as they say, the rest is history!

I met Amy and little Miss B in Frisco to do a shoot. Luckily it was a gorgeous day… You never know with Texas weather. She was such a cutie pie and warmed up to me pretty quickly. We was amazed with bird, water, and ducks! Definitely the highlight of the shoot… seeing the ducks!
