Welcome to Tru Identity Photography+Designs

My name is Stefani Peterson, I am the lead photographer and owner of Tru Identity Photography+Designs.

I began Tru Identity in 2008, kind of by accident... I was a dance/drill team director and first grade teacher for three years when I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. I made the team and decided to put teaching aside (I could always go back to it) while I embraced this amazing opportunity of being a DCC. During this time, I bought my first Canon camera, learned the ins-and-outs of photography and shooting in manual, and started photographing anything and everything (and everyone) that would let me. And as they say, the rest is history!

Katherine & Cameron in Grapevine

Ok, so I shot Katherine and Cameron’s engagements in Grapevine what seems like forever ago…. and am finally getting a break to post their shots! They were one of my favorite engagement shoots I have done!! I think I say that every time but I REALLY mean it! She is a dancer and he is a cheer coach, so image the personalities and fun we were having… not to mention having their creative minds coming up with ideas and suggestions… I love it… then my ideas feed of their ideas… and we deliver AWESOMENESS!!
