Welcome to Tru Identity Photography+Designs

My name is Stefani Peterson, I am the lead photographer and owner of Tru Identity Photography+Designs.

I began Tru Identity in 2008, kind of by accident... I was a dance/drill team director and first grade teacher for three years when I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. I made the team and decided to put teaching aside (I could always go back to it) while I embraced this amazing opportunity of being a DCC. During this time, I bought my first Canon camera, learned the ins-and-outs of photography and shooting in manual, and started photographing anything and everything (and everyone) that would let me. And as they say, the rest is history!

Cassie+Ryan, in Frisco

I can’t wait to show off Cassie and Ryan’s engagement photos!! After almost 3 attempts to schedule their photo shoot we FINALLY were able to get together and get the weather to work for us… it was a great day! Overcast is a photographers friendCassie & Ryan met at a Starbucks where they both worked as baristas, Ryan was the “frapmaster”… and it was love since…. he’ll probably fire me for telling l that (please don’t) but it’s part of their story and thus explains WHY we decided to do a couple shots at the local Starbucks. I have to completely commend them on their “photo skills” they could go from super sexy smooch to Cassie’s infectious giggle and burst of laughter… which just made my job of capturing all these emotions even BETTER! One of my favorites, you’ll see this shoot for many years to come… I love it!!! Thanks Cassie and Ryan… looking forward to the Bridal and Wedding Day!
