Tru Identity Photography Blog bio picture
  • Welcome to Tru Identity Photography+Designs

My name is Stefani Peterson, I am the lead photographer and owner of Tru Identity Photography+Designs.

I began Tru Identity in 2008, kind of by accident... I was a dance/drill team director and first grade teacher for three years when I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. I made the team and decided to put teaching aside (I could always go back to it) while I embraced this amazing opportunity of being a DCC. During this time, I bought my first Canon camera, learned the ins-and-outs of photography and shooting in manual, and started photographing anything and everything (and everyone) that would let me. And as they say, the rest is history!

I love getting to know my clients and sharing in their special events! If you would like to talk further about your wedding photography or special event that needs to be remembered, feel free to shoot me an email by clicking the Contact link above.

    Thank you!
    Stefani

Elise’s Secret Garden Bridals

Elise’s bridals and the location, don’t ask me where…I will NOT tell you, are still one of the most beautiful bridals I feel I have shot to this date! It encompassed all the things I love: birdcage veils, feathers, turquoise, a beautiful gown flattering to the bride, and her blue eyes! No to mention her gorgeous make up courtesy of Trish… I’ll have to get and post her info… she does the airbrushing effect… PHENOMENAL!! Elise is truly an amazing woman and any one that mentions her talks of her positivity and easy going attitude. One thing I personally noticed and love about her is I feel she truly cares about the people around her. Every time I saw her she took the time to ask about me, my life, my business, etc. I feel like I have a new friend and it made the wedding even more special to be able to photograph for her. I even chocked up and had to take a breath when she made her grand entrance during the wedding…. you’ll see later why… all I can say is castle venue, trumpets, heavy wood doors swing open to see Elise and her father (#1 Super Dad, by the way) entering the ballroom…. awwhhh, (insert sigh, here).
