Welcome to Tru Identity Photography+Designs

My name is Stefani Peterson, I am the lead photographer and owner of Tru Identity Photography+Designs.

I began Tru Identity in 2008, kind of by accident... I was a dance/drill team director and first grade teacher for three years when I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. I made the team and decided to put teaching aside (I could always go back to it) while I embraced this amazing opportunity of being a DCC. During this time, I bought my first Canon camera, learned the ins-and-outs of photography and shooting in manual, and started photographing anything and everything (and everyone) that would let me. And as they say, the rest is history!

Meet the fabulous and funny Kelcey! I shot her photos in the Fall and thought as graduation is coming around now is a good time to post some pics. She is an active member of the Pantera Drill Team (woohoo!! I heart dancers!!) and part of her schools Best Buddies organization which works one-on-one with people who have disabilities and builds friendships and creates opportunities. I can completely see she has great people skills as SHE made ME feel super comfortable and easy to talk with her. Usually it’s the other way around… Thanks Miss Kelcey for letting capture you in your Senior year of High School! Best of luck at Baylor!
