  • Welcome to Tru Identity Photography+Designs

    My name is Stefani Peterson, I am the lead photographer and owner of Tru Identity Photography+Designs.

    I began Tru Identity in 2008, kind of by accident... I was a dance/drill team director and first grade teacher for three years when I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. I made the team and decided to put teaching aside (I could always go back to it) while I embraced this amazing opportunity of being a DCC. During this time, I bought my first Canon camera, learned the ins-and-outs of photography and shooting in manual, and started photographing anything and everything (and everyone) that would let me. And as they say, the rest is history!

Carly’s Bridals at Highland Park UMC and The Stoneleigh

Happy wedding day Carly and Adam!!! woohoo! Which, you know what that means… I get to show off Carly’s bridal pics! We were a little concerned about the weather so we started off at The Stoneleigh for our “safe” photos and then headed to Highland Park UMC for the next location. The weather turned out perfect, remember, overcast is a photographer’s friend. Carly’s bridals have been one of my favorites because of her indoor AND outdoor locations. We were able to get a ton of variety and two totally different looks! Not to mention she was absolutely stunning and classic.:)
