Welcome to Tru Identity Photography+Designs

My name is Stefani Peterson, I am the lead photographer and owner of Tru Identity Photography+Designs.

I began Tru Identity in 2008, kind of by accident... I was a dance/drill team director and first grade teacher for three years when I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. I made the team and decided to put teaching aside (I could always go back to it) while I embraced this amazing opportunity of being a DCC. During this time, I bought my first Canon camera, learned the ins-and-outs of photography and shooting in manual, and started photographing anything and everything (and everyone) that would let me. And as they say, the rest is history!

Margie+Tyler, Prosper Engagement Session (part 1)

Yay! I’m so so so excited to share Margie and Tyler’s engagement photos… why? first off… they chose a NEW location, one I had not photographed at before (that’s always fun and unique), second- it’s a meaningful location… Tyler is from Prosper and so is my husband (Joe) they were friends in High School and still are, and third- they are SOOO freakin cute together… seriously Margie’s dimples just make me smileThey are a little bit country, ok maybe a lot country, but a little bit city as well…. so the growing yet still country town of Prosper, TX was a great choice!
