  • Welcome to Tru Identity Photography+Designs

    My name is Stefani Peterson, I am the lead photographer and owner of Tru Identity Photography+Designs.

    I began Tru Identity in 2008, kind of by accident... I was a dance/drill team director and first grade teacher for three years when I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. I made the team and decided to put teaching aside (I could always go back to it) while I embraced this amazing opportunity of being a DCC. During this time, I bought my first Canon camera, learned the ins-and-outs of photography and shooting in manual, and started photographing anything and everything (and everyone) that would let me. And as they say, the rest is history!

I just photographed Margie’s Bridals yesterday so I am super pumped to reveal them BUT I have to wait until December… Boo! Seriously, photographing absolutely stunning and unique bridals then asking the photographer to wait 6 months to reveal them should not be allowed….it’s TORTURE!!!!! But I’ll survive…. I guess;)
