Melanie+Joseph’s Engagements {Dallas}

00 - collage

We had a little bit of luck on our side on the day I shot Melanie and Joseph’s Dallas engagement session.  I love to shoot in locations that are special to clients or have a special meaning to them.  In this situation, the groom-to-be is a Train Conductor so we started their session at Union Station in Dallas to get some photos on the train tracks.  It was a Sunday, so there weren’t any supposed to be any trains cruising by so it seemed odd that there were actually quite a few people at the station.  Hmmm…what is going on?  It turns out that at the same time that we were there shooting, a historic old locomotive known as “Big Boy” was being towed from it’s previous home of five decades in Fair Park to it’s new home at the Museum of American Railroads in Frisco!  The beautiful old train passed right by us and we were able to get some photos as it chugged by!  Such a special moment to start such a fun and happy engagement session! If you want to read a little more about the train that passed by, click here, and check out the photos from this fun-loving couple’s engagement below!  Enjoy!
