  • Welcome to Tru Identity Photography+Designs

    My name is Stefani Peterson, I am the lead photographer and owner of Tru Identity Photography+Designs.

    I began Tru Identity in 2008, kind of by accident... I was a dance/drill team director and first grade teacher for three years when I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. I made the team and decided to put teaching aside (I could always go back to it) while I embraced this amazing opportunity of being a DCC. During this time, I bought my first Canon camera, learned the ins-and-outs of photography and shooting in manual, and started photographing anything and everything (and everyone) that would let me. And as they say, the rest is history!

    I love getting to know my clients and sharing in their special events! If you would like to talk further about your wedding photography or special event that needs to be remembered, feel free to shoot me an email by clicking the Contact link above.

    Thank you!
    Stefani

Kendall+Allen’s Piazza in the Village wedding {Colleyville}

Kendall & Allen had a beautiful morning wedding ceremony at the Piazza in the Village in Colleyville. I loved shooting a morning wedding, I rarely get the opportunity, but it was fun to see the ‘morning’ twist on things.. like mimosas instead of wine, and brunch and coffee instead of chicken and salad. I loved…
