Christina’s Couture Bridals

I photographed Christina’s bridals this Fall in preparation for her Dallas wedding this past January. Her classic a-line gown layered in lace was an elegant and complimentary choice. As a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader she knew what she was doing in front of the camera. Every image we took, everyone kept saying “that’s gorgeous, it should be in a magazine!” Well, I’m trying, so be on the look out ;)  Their January wedding was stunning! I will post a highlight of those soon as well.

Hair & Make-up- Zinc Beauty

(Peggy is AMAZING!! She does most of the makeup for DCC, photo shoots, calendar shoots AND she has her own makeup line, pretty cool!)

Until then, enjoy some of my favorites from the day…

February 13, 2010 - 5:27 am Jacqueline Sweet - Stefanie, You did a wonderful job with Christina's Wedding pictures it also helps to have a beautiful woman like Christina to start with. You photos are great just wished you didn't live so far away could have to take family pictures. Unfortunatley I live in NY state we had pictures taken and we are not happy with the results and would be happier having someone like you to take them. We also paid over $600.00 for the proofs and 5 8x10 and 1 11x16. We have a son with Autism and he is difficult to photgraph and our pictures didn't turn out how we wold have like them to be. Thank you .

Wedding Wish #5

Wedding Wish #5- Choose a DJ that has awesome continuous lighting displays

Wedding Wish # 5 seems totally random, I know, but is something that can play a HUGE part in how your reception photos turn out. First off, continuous lighting are the lights that stay on, NOT strobe lights that blink on and off like you’re in Back to the Future… we don’t want those.

In a nutshell, I can use the  DJ lights to get some pretty cool shadowing and rim light… the photos should speak for themselves… I love it! Do it! You’ll love your photos after :)

Wedding Wish #6

Wedding Wish #6- Make your grand exit Grande!

Come up with something fun for your guests to help send you off as husband and wife. It seems everyone does rose petals, bubbles, or sparklers… and they are all beautifully done BUT if you want something different think of the possibilities… Streamers! Balloons! Funfetti! Be creative and have fun with it.

Fun exit cars make for a unique exit as well… antique cars, old police car (if you are a police man) or fire truck (fireman), helicopter ;), your neighbor’s old corvette, a boat, etc. Think of something either of you like to do or have as a career and try to incorporate that into your exit. Be unique, and have fun with it!

* * Make sure to let your photographer know about these special events or things you are planning, so you can get plenty of photos taken with them before the night concludes!
