I decided to venture to Denton for Sharles and Erica’s engagement photos and play around old downtown. Denton is such a great photo town, there are plenty of rustic areas and texture that make photos interesting and beautiful! LOVE!

Ok so I’m blogging very backwards I know…. but since I’ve been so off lately it’s easier… just enjoy, OKAY!

This is Kaitlin and Daniel! They were the first of their families to actually hold a formal wedding ceremony and they were very particular to do as much as the could “the right way” and we did… everything from prewedding photos and getting ready to the traditional ‘not seeing each other before’. The ceremony took place at The Little Chapel in the Woods on the TWU campus in Denton. Perfect for an intimate wedding! It was a very sweet day and I was very honored to capture these moments for them. I was asked to photograph only the prewedding, the ceremony and formals, so the video below is short and sweet. Kevin+Kim’s Denton Engagement Photos

Oh, I have so much to say about Kevin and Kim’s engagement session in Denton… first off, they are super sweet together and full of laughter, just overall a pleasure to work with… now I have to brag a little because they were cast as Romeo and Juliet!! How cool, my clients were Romeo+Juliet, and now they are getting married! So fun! They also graduated from UNT (like me) and spend many hours at the UNT Performing Arts Center on campus… so what better location to take their engagement photos… in the city you met and spend your time in. Also, I have to say I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all the black+white images! Something about Kevin and Kim are soooo Humphrey Bogart – Audrey Hepburn and that channeled so well in to their photos, so the b+w just made them so classic! And I loved them kissing… they are actors so they do it SO well for the camera… Needless to say, there are a lot of black+white and kissy photos, Sorry!
