I’m so glad she found Bryan who seems to adore her! I was (and am) very honored to be the photographer on their special day this May.

Tori came to me with the idea of a Grapevine/wine/ picnic inspired engagement session and  I (loving wine myself) was up for it! We met at a simple field in Grapevine near their apartment and walked the trails and had a simple wine-nic (instead of a picnic) then headed to Main Street in Grapevine. I loved shooting at two different locations and getting two different styles of photos…One more relaxed and casual using natural light, and the one more sassy and fashionable using off camera light… wow!!! such a prefect session!! Loved everything about it!

We met up to shoot their engagement session, finally, after several tries when the good ‘ol Texas weather would not cooperate with us. Such an easy going, classic, football-loving couple… Carly works for the Dallas Cowboys… (Go COWBOYS!!, woohhoo!) Anyways, sorry I got a little distracted there. I am super excited about doing Carly’s bridals, we have some new locations picked out that I haven’t been to,  and photographing the wedding in May!

Early morning is always a little rough but with the help of some coffee we were good to go. I loved their story of how they met… quiet little Heidi taking charge by putting a card on Nathan’s car windshield… and their love story began…go girl!
