Finally got some time to blog Cory and Sharon’s vineyard wedding in Grapevine. Remember that rainy, stormy, Tornado warnings everywhere day here in Dallas when the Dallas Cowboys Bubble collapsed.?.?… yes? that was the day of Cory and Sharon’s outdoor Vineyard wedding. The most beautiful part was that 10 minutes before the ceremony the rained stopped, yes, STOPPED! We were able to have the ceremony outside with gorgeous rain clouds brewing and providing a beautiful light for the ceremony. It stayed clear throughout the ceremony, first dance, father daughter dance, and toast… then we had buckets of rain again, but that was ok because the rest of the event could be help under the patios. I think we all determined it was nothing but a God thing… he was in control… Looking at the photos reminds me of how he works to amaze us!

Kelsi’s Senior pics

Kelsi has the most amazing big blue eyes I have EVER seen!! Absolutely gorgeous! AND she’s a dancer so we had plenty to talk about. Not that you could tell she is a dancer… she only has beautiful pointed toes in EVERY photo and a continuous big smile! After her graduation she’ll be off to Lubbock to Texas Tech to become a Red Raider. Congarts on your graduation Kelsi! Good luck in the future and I hope you keep dancing!! p.s.- work on that “Cheetos” face… Mom had it down, very entertaining

Family photos in Grapevine

Erica and Daniel are getting married in October but wanted to get some “future” family photos done in the Spring. Tell me her little boy is not the most handsome thing! I love kids, so part of my work in helping them relax and have fun with me during our photo session is teasing and playing around with them… One of my favorite parts of the job! I realize you get more natural expressions and not the “say cheese” grin that is usually in photos. We have a lot for, to say the least!

Erica introduced me to the BEAUTIFUL area in Grapevine called the Grapevine Botanical Gardens. It is a smaller version of the Japanese Gardens in Ft. worth but no photography fee (love that!!) and no entrance fee (double woo-hoo!). I definitely will be using the place more often for photo shoots. Thanks Erica!
