Caitlin and Ryan’s engagement session, to say the least, was perfectly imperfect… Both Caitlin and Ryan are going to school out of town so they specifically drove to Dallas for their engagement session… Well, I guess we forgot to tell the weatherman this because the forecast brought us RAIN So we did what we do best, make the best of it or reschedule… in this case Caitlin and Ryan voted to make the best of it. Which now, after getting to know them, are just their personalities. When Caitlin first told be about Ryan she described him as the “skull and cross-bones” type that doesn’t like corny jumping into the sunset pictures… so I’ll admit, I was a little intrigued… then I met Ryan and understood. They absolutely balance each other out…just a little bit rocker, little bit trendy, but lots of LOVE and LAUGHTER! So we spent a couple hours shooting and then hiding from the rain… which some cool thunder clouds made an awesome backdrop for us in the photos AND if you have ever worked with me you know that overcast is a photographers friend so when the rain stopped it was ideal… until it started again, thus = the perfectly imperfect engagement session.

Baylor or A&M??? It’s a divided home…

After getting lost in the crazy one way streets of Dallas, Cory, Sharon and I roamed all over Deep Ellum! I just love shooting there with all the color and versatility, there are sooo many possibilities! When Cory said he wanted graffiti, I knew Deep Ellum was our place. Cory and Sharon were so much fun and put up  with my crazy ideas when some creativity started to flow, THANKS (ya’ll are awesome clients)! I love it when my clients get relaxed and throw in creativity too, then the great shots really come! They were natural with the posing and really just did their thing, not to mention look so great together, so taking their photo was EeeZZZ! ”Actually, they turned out pretty good! haha! What a surprise”….(who says that??)- That was for you Cory & Sharon! Thanks for putting up with me

I shots Sharon’s bridals a couple days ago but no peeking eyes, Cory, they won’t go up until after the wedding… hehe! She was a total supermodel for me, honestly!! All I have to say is GLAMOROUS!

Now the couple, a year and a half later, is happily engaged and getting married in April! Yay! I was sooo honored when they asked me to be the photographer… Ummm, ofcourse! I feel like I have seen their relationship come full circle and can not wait to capture their wedding.
