Alex told me she wanted an Anthropologie feel to her photos… I have to admit I have heard of Anthropologie put never shopped there… so I did what anyone else would do… Googled it :) I noticed the entire store is very vintage/ modern/ antique/ hippie-esk… so I immediately I thought… Denton!! for the photo location. Denton is the North Texas capital of artistic/ vintage/ modern/ free/ hippie love. Alex has the most GORGEOUS clear blue eyes… If you don’t know yet, eyes are my thing. I’m obsessed with them!! So, needless to say, she got a ton of close ups and attention to those baby blues.

Alex, you’re a trooper! Thanks for playing around with me for a couple hours! Glad we finally found the mysterious Hand Chair and voyaged in to the Book Store ;) Different but fun.

Again, I am so impressed by her comfort in front of the camera! Lauren did awesome!… I think it is the dancer in her coming out… at one point she was moving in to a new pose and I was about to shoot when I noticed a perfectly pointed foot and graceful arm positioning, I knew she was a dancer! I LOVE it when I share a common interest in something other than photography with my clients. :)

It was a cloudy day but perfect for photography! Here are some of my favorites…

Absolutely gorgeous! AND she’s a dancer so we had plenty to talk about. Not that you could tell she is a dancer… she only has beautiful pointed toes in EVERY photo and a continuous big smile! After her graduation she’ll be off to Lubbock to Texas Tech to become a Red Raider. Congarts on your graduation Kelsi! Good luck in the future and I hope you keep dancing!! :) p.s.- work on that “Cheetos” face… Mom had it down, very entertaining ;)
