Karen (and her friend and Mom) were such troopers for this photo session! It had snowed pretty bad the day before but on shoot day the weather turned nice and melted most of the snow… well, apparently NOT in McKinney… It was just barely above freezing and the Cotton Mill has no heat, awesome! (sarcasm)… We did get lucky though and the Mill had been about to set up for a wedding and reception in the main ballroom and we were able to use the beautiful sheer tulle and lights to add some dimension to Karen’s photos. One of Karen’s main reasons for wanting to shoot at the Mill was the funky green couch they have upstairs, well (and another downer, sorry) it looked like it had been sat on one too many times. The bottom of the couch had pretty much fallen out (sad face)… So when you get to the green couch photos below make sure appreciate Karen’s patience and body strength to ‘fake it’ and hold herself up! And pay your homage to the green couch… may it rest in peace… Ok enough about the venue, here is Karen! Love her red hair, blue eyes, and dimples! Not to mention a fabulous dress, love the bodice and beading. You’re a gorgeous lady!

Karen & Scot were married March 5, 2011 in Dallas at Oaklawn UMC and their reception was at Arlington Hall. Photos coming soon!
